New Stuff Coming Soon

Hi everyone!

I know it's been a while since I made a post, and it's because I've had sooooooo much going on. When I say so much going on, I mean Everything Everywhere All at Once level.

Well, one of the things on that list is working with an editor to help finalize The Last of Her Kind, my first book coauthored with my wife.

This is a novel about an alien who comes to Earth in search of a cure for a disease spreading rampantly across her planet. As she spends time on Earth, she finds that she can't help but fall in love with it... and with a certain special someone in particular.

The only problem is that she can't have her cake and eat it too. She'll need to decide between the fate of her species and the people she's come to love.

Find out what she chooses, coming soon in 2027!

The romance here is squeaky clean, by the way. We're shooting for YA, but obviously we're open to the YAH (Young Adult at Heart).

You may have also noticed some short story posts added to my page. I have to admit, I was taken by surprise when I checked my Goodreads account. I uploaded these to KDP and immediately noticed they popped up in my publications.

Good grief.

I get this weird thing where I want people to read my stuff, but then I really don't and just want to hide in a hole. There was definitely some part of me that was like, IT'S TOO SOON!!!!

Well, there they are.

By the way, I personally think 99 cents is too high for these. In reality, I would like to give them away for free, but unfortunately, 99 cents is the lowest amount I can set. My hope is that people find them through their Kindle subscriptions.

If you don't have one but still want to read them, sign up for my mailing list and BAM, you'll get them free because... the truth is...

I love you.

I mean, I love that you took the time to subscribe and read my stuff.

THANK YOU.

I've also been trying to wrap my mind around how to handle social media.

Truthfully, I'm a painfully shy wallflower. If I'm at a party, I'm literally sitting in a corner, sipping my ice water and trying to fade into the background.

So you can imagine the mental strain I feel when I constantly read about the importance of having social media posts.

"You get to advertise yourself for free!"

"You get to reach a global audience!"

UGH, but I'm so shy and I don't want to post!!!!

Mercy me.

Well, anyway, I'm telling you all this because I really want to know what YOU want to hear from me.

If you're reading this, tell me what you're wondering about.

What inspired the character Marshall from your book Out of the Depths?

What was it like writing a book with your wife? Did you fight and have to seek counseling afterward?

Are you a side or back sleeper?

Let me know what you want to know.

I'm like a ship lost at sea. I need to find the lighthouse of the people interested in reading what I'm writing.

So drop by and say hi!
