I write stories about the moments that change everything. The place where love, loss, faith, and mystery meet.
I’ve loved storytelling for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest and most vivid memories is being seven years old, sitting in front of a screen and crying at the end of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I didn’t want the story to end. The characters felt real to me. I could imagine their lives continuing beyond the game, and I felt deeply connected to them in a way I didn’t yet have words for.
Not long after, I began writing my own stories. I poured my heart into characters, trying to step into their shoes and understand the world through their eyes. Writing wasn’t just a hobby; it was a way of making sense of people, emotions, and the quiet weight of being human.
As I grew older, life pulled me in a different direction. I pursued a demanding career that required everything I had, both on and off the clock. Somewhere along the way, I abandoned the creative part of myself. I became a workaholic adult, focusing on all the wrong things, losing my sense of balance, and struggling with addiction.
Eventually, everything came crashing down. I hit rock bottom, uncertain of what came next. During that time, I returned to writing, simply to pass the time and stay grounded. Stories became a refuge when very little else was.
Through that darkness, I found help and rediscovered a living, transformative faith in Jesus. As I began rebuilding my life, I also reclaimed the craft I first fell in love with as a child. Today, I write stories that wrestle honestly with brokenness, redemption, and hope—because I know firsthand that even at rock bottom, grace can still find you.
